Modern wine racks are more than just storage units for bottled beverages. These racks carry stories of creativity, hopes, passion, and grit, with each bottle made exquisitely. From growing the fruit to designing the bottle labels, there’s always heart put into every step of the wine-making process.

Wines also have become a tremendous part of people’s lives, defining generations and experiences like a couple’s first drink as husband and wife, an employee’s promotion, or your grandpa’s favorite Friday pass time. These are memories and special moments that VintageView’s Wine Racks strive to preserve.

Metal wine racks elevate your wine collection with a posh & modern look.

Since 2001, Vintage View has revolutionized the wine storage industry with its modern-day wine racks. They pioneered the label-forward way of showcasing wine bottles which isn’t only practical but also gives recognition to the invaluable talent of logo and label designers. If you’re in the mood for a specific type of wine, you won’t have to recall exactly where you placed the bottle because you’ll be able to see the labels immediately!

What’s Great About VintageView’s Metal Wine Rack Styles?

From the design perspective, metal racks are great for sleek, modern, and elegant-looking wine cellars. But beyond their aesthetic appeal, they’re also utilized for functional purposes, including:

  • To allow more proper airflow distribution, so every bottle is exposed to the same level of temperature.
  • To put more focus on the wine collection rather than the rack.
  • To maximize small spaces like under the stairs, wine closets, or small rooms that you’re planning to transform into a wine cellar.

Metal-Crafted Wine Rack Styles Professionally-Made by VintageView

At VintageView, they believe that wines can last for a really long time with the right environment. This means that the liquor is protected from harmful UV rays and extreme heat & humidity. Additionally, the right environment means the wines are kept stable at all times, free from vibrations or movements that could artificially speed up the aging process. That’s why sturdy and precisely engineered metal wine racks are essential to protecting these wines.

VintageView designs and builds cutting-edge metal wine racks that can support different sizes of liquor bottles. They have a wide selection of racks, including the modular types that allow you to gradually build your racks as you add more wines to your collection.

Here are the different styles of wine racks offered by VintageView:

Locker & Bin Wine Rack Style by VintageView

Lockers and Bins support a cork-forward orientation. They all come in grid-style metal cases and can either be open-faced or with a locked door. In these units, the bottles are securely stacked on top of each other, and the entire structure of the bins integrates smoothly with label-forward racks.

Locker and Bin extensions are also available if you want to spruce up the style. You can choose between an X-Bin Insert to further divide the bottles inside one bin or a Syrah Shelf Insert, an acrylic panel that allows you to store accessories, decanters, and upright wine.

For security purposes, VintageView offers wine bins that can be locked in the front and covered by a steel sheet at the back. These are commonly requested by restaurants and other public establishments.

One standard locker/bin is 3.5ft tall and fits 48 750ml bottles or 24 Magnum bottles.

Wall-Mounted Metal Wine Rack Style by VintageView

Wall-mounted wine racks save floor space. The bottles are supported either by minimalistic metal pegs or rods attached to vertical columns. VintageView’s wall-mounted metal racks are made from high-quality steel and secured firmly on the wall, so there’s no need to worry about the bottles falling off.

The distance between wall-mounted metal wine racks can be adjusted depending on the sizes of your wine bottles.

Our clients favor these types of VintageView wine rack designs for their versatility. You can personalize your configurations on the wall as the pegs or vertical columns are assembled depending on the size of the bottle and the number of bottles you want to store.

VintageView’s wine rods either have bent ends or rubber stoppers to prevent the bottles from rolling out. For double-deep and triple deep pegs, rubber O-rings are fitted onto the pegs to hold the bottles in place.

You can see the O-rings fitted onto these metal pegs in this photo.

All wall-mounted wine racks by VintageView present the wines in a label-forward way. You can choose between one-deep, double-deep, or triple-deep racks depending on the style you want to achieve. Like the lockers and bins, extensions are available where you can display wine glasses, decanters, and other accessories on.

These metal pegs were built to carry three (3) wine bottles.

Floating Metal Wine Rack Style by VintageView

Floating wine racks make use of floor-to-ceiling metal frames. These frames are not attached to the wall, so the bottles look like they’re suspended. VintageView’s beautifully-designed floating wine racks are popularly used as room dividers, and they can also be customized according to the size of your wine collection. Floating racks come in one-sided or two-sided racks with a polished finish, instantly transforming any area into a  contemporary-looking space.

A floating metal wine rack can be installed as a special part of the bar counter.

With the help of specialized extension brackets and rods, floating racks can be assembled in different degrees — vertical, horizontal, or slanting.

Freestanding Metal Wine Rack Style by VintageView

Freestanding metal wine racks allow you to move your entire wine collection anywhere in your home or business. These racks are not mounted on the floor, wall, or ceiling, so transferring them is relatively easy and less laborious. The most popular designs are their Island Display Racks which you can buy with casters/wheels.

The freestanding metal wine rack holding these bottles isn’t visible, putting more emphasis on the wines.

Freestanding racks also come in various designs: one-sided, two-sided, and racks with presentation rows on top. Depending on the kit, Island Display Racks can hold more than a thousand bottles of wine.

VintageView’s Metal Wine Racks Feature Polished Finishes

The surfaces of all VintageView metal wine racks can be coated with different finishes. The metal is anodized to prevent corrosion or coated with powder to achieve different looks and colors. Here are the most popular:

    • Black Satin – black coating with a semi-matte sheen.
    • Platinum Finish – shiny, silver-looking finish with a bright gray undertone
    • Brushed Nickel – looks similar to stainless steel with a semi-satin sheen
    • Chrome Luxe – looks similar to stainless steel with a shiny luster
    • Black Chrome – a type of chrome finish with a smoky or nearly black appearance
    • Bright Brass – vintage-looking brass with a warm, golden sheen
    • Copper – shiny finish with a reddish metal color
  • VintageView metal wine racks can be customized. One wine wall can have different configurations, styles, and finishes.
